Boys cat have babies...
Okay, story time. Grab yourself a cup of cocoa, coffee or tea and pull up a chair.
Today was the day that I took my kittens, Oliver and Gabby into the vets to be neutered and spayed. My morning was pretty busy for I had to be there by 7:30am and then to Taylor's dentist appointment right afterwards.
Over the last month we had been talking about "fixing" the kittens, and of course the joke was always regarding "poor Oliver." LOL Yes, he was no longer going to be my "boy kitten". Anyways, since I know how well they LOVE their kitten kennel, I decided to pull it out last night and put it on the floor in the frontroom to check out, and of course praying that they would both fit in it. Of course Gabby ran to our room so fast, all we seen was a flash. Nope, not Oliver. He walked right over and got in. Sniffed around and decided, not to bad...I am going to lay down in here. After a bit Gabby game out and started checking out the kennel. It must be okay, for her brother got in it. So a little relief there for the morning knowing that I had to stuff both kittens into one kennel. (NO, I totally forgot to get another kennel besides that, "A month ago, they fit just fine!" LOL)
Morning comes, I pull the kennel out of my room, and Oliver came running and got right in. I called Gabby and she came running. Much to her despair. She came to the kennel, and I gave her a slight nudge and in she went. So far so good. The kids are always putting them in boxes, so they were tolerant to being confined for the time being.
Into the car we go. Boy did Oliver cry all the way there. I told my brother today that he "wined" all the way to the vets and he says, "Well, I bet, poor kitty!" LOL
To move on through the story, the kittens were dropped off and across the tressle Taylor and I go.
"Mom, why did we leave them there? I thought they were just getting shots. "
"Taylor, remember, I told you they we getting fixed."
"What does that mean, get fix?"
"I thought we had talked about this Taylor. It is when the vets make it so that they can't have babies."
"Then why are we getting Oliver fixed then? Only Gabby is the girl."
"Because both can make babies...."
It was quiet for a few loooonnnnggggg....... moments.... ugh.... what is coming next.
"Mom, only girls have babies in their tummys. This sooooo doesn't make any sense."
"Taylor, when dad gets home tonight, why don't you have him explain to you a little better."
Silence in the back seat.....
"I get it!!!!!! It takes two to make a baby!!" Taylor states as proud as can be....
"Taylor, daddy would love to talk about this with you tonight if you have any more questions...."
Thank goodnes, the dentist office!!!!

Taylor plays Monopoly!
On a Friday night a week ago, the family sat down for the game of Monopoly. Within the first 2 hours Bobby and Kyleann had enough of the game, so Bob, Taylor and I continued moving forward. Bob and I watched in such amazement as Taylor continued to play up into the 5th hour. Oh my goodness..... The attention of this kid at 10:30 at night was amazing. We had so much fun and are excited to play again soon!

Grace is 7 -1/2 months old!

The Boober Family came over and spent the Thanksgiving holiday with us. I took the girl's pictures outdoors. Unfortunately it was so cold, but the kids still did well with their photos.
